Today's card is another Polished Stone technique card - I've been addicted to this technique lately!  This time I used Nina's new Fine Furnishings image and Gina's Enjoy the Sunshine sentiment for the focal image along with some yellow, orange, and red alcohol inks from Ranger...

Do you eat Goldfish?

 Hi there!

I thought I'd share a 8x8 scrapbook page I made recently with an image from GinaK's new Enjoy the Sunshine StampTV stamp set.  I just LOVE this goldfish image and had to chuckle when Ashley came home from her school carnival with a little goldfish in a bag of water.  She made her dad go to WalMart with her to pick up some goldfish food, washed a bowl, and added some spring water to it and proudly put it on her shelf in her bedroom.

The next morning, while watching an episode of Penguins of Madagascar she watched the penguins eat fish during the cartoon and suddenly asked, "Dad, does anyone in the family like to eat fish?"  Brad told her that the only person who really liked fish in our family was Mom.  She replied, "She DOESN'T eat GOLDFISH does she?!" 

You can imagine the chuckle we got out of that one!  lol!

Brad had taken this photo of Ashley the night she got the goldfish and it was so cute, that I had to use it for the page!  Her face was all painted up like a cheetah - although her dad teased her that she had 'leopard-sy' since he thought she looked like a leopard.  When she realized what he was saying, she thought it was funny but at first she was a bit upset and thought he was making fun of her by saying she had 'leprosy' which everyone knows isn't a good thing to have...

Happy Anniversary, Brad!

Good evening!

I couldn't attend the Release party tonight over on StampTV because I am spending time with my husband and family.  It's Brad and my 14th anniversary today and I wanted to share this card tonight that I made for him.

We love to go on our Anniversary or get away trips together to somewhere where there is water - whether it be a lake, an ocean, or even a river.  It seems to be our tradition!  I have a photo of Brad on one of our trips together standing by an anchor - so when I saw the sentiment and the image in the Enjoy the Sunshine StampTV kit, I had to use them together for my card for him!

Enjoy the Sunshine STV kit and Stars

Welcome Back to day 3 of the May Previews!

Tonight I'm starting with my card that I made with GinaK's new Enjoy the Sunshine StampTV kit!  If you haven't already, hop over to GinaK's blog to see her video introducing the kit and the project she made with it!  I'm in LOVE with the images, sentiments, ribbons, and papers that are in this huge kit!

Since I'm married to an avid biker, I had to make this card in honor of my guy (although I must say his bike is a bit fancier than this one!  This actually looks a bit like a bike I had growing up, complete with a banana seat - remember those!? lol)

Next up is a fabulous new stamp set by Tami called Stars!  The star images in the set were designed to coordinate with Fiskars Star punch, that Gina will be adding to her online store soon.  I was happy to find out that my Stampin Up star punch also works great with it too!

I went clean and simple with this card.  I sewed a piece of vellum onto the Kraft card base - doesn't it look nice?
