Bright and Beautiful
Happy Friday!
Today's card is another Polished Stone technique card - I've been addicted to this technique lately! This time I used Nina's new Fine Furnishings image and Gina's Enjoy the Sunshine sentiment for the focal image along with some yellow, orange, and red alcohol inks from Ranger...
Card Details
Stamps: Fine Furnishings and Enjoy the Sunshine
Ink: Black Stazon; Ranger Alcohol inks
Cardstock: Glossy; DCWV patterned; GinaK
Other: Ranger Alcohol handle, felt applicator, and blending solution; Corner rounder; Basic Grey glazed brad; Ribbon

Sit back and Relax!
Happy Memorial Day weekend!
My family and I just got back last night from a wonderful vacation in St. Louis, MO. We had such a great time checking out the beautiful city and the tourist spots while we were there... the Zoo, the Science Museum, Grant's Farm, the Arch, and even Union Station. The weather was perfect and nothing was too busy or crowded - so all in all, it really was a perfect vacation!
But, you can imagine how happy we are to be home again... nothing like your own bed and house after an extended time away, is there? With that in mind, I thought I'd share this card I made with Nina Brackett's new Fine Furnishings and Fine Furnishings Additions stamp sets...
It may be hard to tell in the photos but I stamped the solid images in Brown Vivid ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to make them look like our brown leather couch and chair in our living room. In fact, even as I type this - Brad is asleep on the couch and I'm on the laptop relaxing in the chair... lol!
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and thanks for checking in on me today!

Fine Furnishings and Friends are Forever
Welcome back!
It's been a fun week of previews, hasn't it? Tonight, I'm thrilled to share some more projects with you that I've made with 3 more new stamp sets that will be available tomorrow night online, after GinaK's release party.
My first sample was made with both of Nina Brackett's new stamp sets: Fine Furnishings and Fine Furnishings Additions. These stamp sets are filled with sentiments that I LOVE and both line art and bold images that are so fun to play with!
I chose to paper piece the chair with some Basic Grey Origins papers and then used some journaling notecards to finish off the inside and outside of the card. Notice the background? That's made with Nina's Vintage Backgrounds stamp set...

Ink: Distress; Stazon; Versafine black
Cardstock: GinaK; Basic Grey Origins
Other: Sewing machine; sponge daubers, buttons, clip, twine

While thinking about my project, I decided to make a clean and simple card using basic supplies. The images were colored with Spica Glitter pens and the ribbon is actually white with the edges colored lavendar with Copic markers.
It ended up being very elegant and simple. I chose to keep it sentiment free so that I could use if for a wedding, anniversary, or even sympthy card.
