Puppy Kiki
Hi there!
I created this card with a coworker in mind who recently had to put their family dog down. It was a very difficult decision but was best since her 13 year old dog had lost use of her legs and was deteriorating day by day. I think this C.C. Designs image called Puppy Kiki is so cute and would bring a smile to her face - especially since her dog was actually a St. Bernard, obviously much larger than the dog image!
Card Details
Stamps: CC Designs Puppy Kiki; unknown sentiment set (from JoAnne's)
Ink: Memento
Card stock: Copic Xpress it blending; MME Stella Rose
Other: Sewing machine; corner rounder; Copics; seam binding ribbon; MFT border die; buttons; Wild Orchid flower
and the inside view - the sentiment is from Paper Pretties Dreams sentiment stamp set -
Thanks for checking in on me today!

Happy Birthday
Hi there!
It's Wednesday morning and that means it's time for a new Paper Pretties' challenge! This week, we are challenged to create a birthday card which is a great challenge since for me personally I can never have too many birthday cards in my stash. With going back to teaching school this fall, I've been making as many of my cards birthday cards recently as I could - have you noticed that? I want to have a good stash of them all ready to go for my fellow teachers and I to use for the students' birthdays.
I used the adorable Always in my Heart Sophia image along with a sentiment from my very favorite Paper Pretties' Surprise Sophia stamp set. Kids' birthday cards are best when paired with bright patterned papers, so I pulled out some Echo Park 6x6 Summer Time papers and colored Sophia to coordinate. As you can see, minimal embellishments were added to help keep the card kid friendly and relatively 'lump' free and easy to mail.
In light my heading back to teaching this fall, I have made the very difficult decision to step down from the Paper Pretties design team. I will not have as much time to play in my stamping room this fall and need to step away from a few of the teams I represent. Heather has been a joy to work for - her organization is top notch and she and Frances (DT coordinator) have made my time representing the Paper Pretties' company go as smoothly as it possibly could. You'll still be seeing Paper Pretties' projects on my blog as I have fallen in love with several of her exclusive stamp lines!
Please hop over to the Paper Pretties' company blog to view the rest of the designers' samples as well as to find out all the information on how to enter your card into this week's challenge!
Happy stamping!
Jessica

Happy Birthday Pardner!
Hi!
It's time for another Paper Pretties' Wednesday challenge! This week, we are challenging you to pull out your paper piercers and/or templates and do some paper piercing! For my card sample, I used this super cute Cowboy Cooper stamp set - isn't Cooper adorable all decked out in his cowboy garb?
The inside of my card is pretty basic - so much so that I didn't even take a photograph of it. If you have any questions on anything you see, please feel free to let me know by leaving a comment or shooting me an email.
Now, pop over to the Paper Pretties blog for all the other designers' card samples as well as all the information on how to enter your card for this week's challenge.
Have a great day!

Happy Easter!
If you are looking for my birthday hop card, please scroll down one post! Happy birthday, Cindy & Dominique!
Good morning!
I have a very bright Easter card that I made for my daughter Ashley to tuck in her Easter basket this morning. She LOVES all things bright and bold, so I think she'll like it even though it's a bit busy with all the colors and patterns for me personally. But, I didn't make it for ME - I made it for HER! lol!
Isn't this Hippity Hoppity Sopia adorable? I paper pieced her dress and the Easter Eggs with Echo Park's 6x6 A Walk in the Park papers.
Have a blessed Easter Sunday with your family, my friends!
