Sweet 16

Hi there!

I'm popping in with another post today for The Twinery sponsoring CPS sketch for this week.  I was inspired by the sketch to using one of the new The Craft's Meow stamp sets that will be available for purchase tomorrow - I've Got Your Number.  We previewed that stamp set a few days ago and I mentioned how easy it was to use to make a quick card and so I did just that yesterday using this sketch as the layout...

The word 'sweet' is from TCM's Life is a Carnival stamp set and the doily and frame/stamp is from PaperTrey Ink.  Paper is retired valentine's paper from Stampin Up.  For the rest of The Twinery's designers take on the sketch, please check out THIS blog post entry and then pop over to the CPS blog for the details on how to enter your card into their challenge this week for a chance to win some yummy Twinery twine!

CPS 193: more Christmas critters!

Good morning!

I'm back with another Stampin Up Merry Crittermas card - once I started playing with this adorable stamp set, I just couldn't stop!  This time I used this week's Card Positioning Systems sketch for this week.  Check out this link for all the inspiration and the actual sketch.

Ink: Memento black and desert sand
Card Stock: GinaK cranberry, chocolate; PTI white; SU retired holiday dp
Other: Copic markers; SU word window punch and buttons; sewing machine; spellbinder scallop circle dies; spica glitter pens

This card is part of a new iEmbellish virtual class card kit that is due to be ready for purchase at the end of the week.  Included in the kit will be a detailed step by step photo tutorial of how I colored each of the little 'critter' stamp images in this adorable stamp set along with lots of other ideas!  Stay tuned for more information about this kit as the week goes on.
