Sisters...

Good evening!

Tonight's card is one I made for my sister - and then forgot to give it to her when she and family were here for a visit! ARGGGH!! Does stuff like that happen to you too - or is it just me, who is so forgetful like that sometimes!?! lol!

My sister and her family came yesterday afternoon to spend the night with us. My kids really enjoy playing with their cousins - so it's been a busy couple of days around here with tons of hours of video games played, a trip to the zoo, puzzles put together several dozen times, Star Wars action figures built and acted out, some birthday shopping - and lots of other fun stuff!

So, naturally I thought it would be a good time to share this card I made for Beka last week. Her husband is in the middle of some career decisions and I wanted to make this card for her letting her know that they were in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of transitions.

On a sad note - I wanted to ask you to pray for my fellow GinaK Design Team member Cathy Tidwell. She had a heart attack yesterday morning and is in need of all our prayers. She is in the hospital awaiting more tests and procedures tomorrow morning. We will keep everyone updated as we can, but for now the power of prayer is what she needs most from all of us. Thank you!!!

Jessica

What a special card for your sister (and no, you aren't the only one...I am notorious for making a card for a specific reason and then forgetting to send it...need to work on that!) Love the colors and the little oriental dolls (remind me of the years I lived in Japan...) Your sister will appreciate it.

Certainly praying for Cat, the Lord is truly omniscient and knows specifically what her physical need is and we pray the Lord gives the doctors wisdom in treating her.

Love this cute cute card, Jessica!! I bet she will too... even late. And I forget to send, grab as I'm leaving or give while they are there!!

Definitely praying for Cat... what a shock to hear this. You hit it on the head this weekend when you said STV has a wonderful group of gals and I am sure she will have ALL the support and prayers of everyone here.
