Tonight's card is packed with autumn goodness! I adore the colors of autumn and decided to focus on oranges and yellows since I am in love with GinaK's newest Pure Luxury color: Pumpkin Spice. Right now it is only available through her Signs of Autumn stamptv kit, but it will go into regular inventory during the next release - which is next Thursday, August 27th already!
I paired Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Kiss, and Ivory with Stampin Up's More than Mustard and some K&Co. patterned papers that matched. The sentiments are from GinaK's Thanks a Million stamp set (available through the STV Signs of Autumn kit only) along with a Martha Stewart Leaves stamp set I recently found at WalMart. After stamping & coloring with Copics, I inked my SU Twill background stamp in Mustard ink and stamped over the entire image to age it a little.
The colors are a little strange in this next photo - but I like how it shows all the textures going on with this card...
You can see that I used a Fiskars Border punch, a Nestability die as well as a Stampin Up Sizzix embossing folder to add texture to everything! I also used my Sanding block quite a bit to age everything a little more and make the white core cardstock distressed a little more.
Did you happen to see Gina's newest StampTV video? She is using my all time favorite glitter pens - the Sakura brand - to make a super sparkly flower image which makes a huge statement on her card! I LOVE the sparkle!!
Also - my Spirit of Christmas class is coming up! It will be available on Friday - for more details, see this discussion over on StampTV.
Have a great rest of your night and I'll see you tomorrow!
