Today starts the preview blog hop for the new November release of stamp sets from The Craft's Meow! It's all about Christmas this month and I think you'll really enjoy the variety of stamp designs the TCM's illustrators have created for this release!
My first card shows off the new The Merry Best stamp set illustrated by Kaitlyn Ord. I really like the bold images and fonts/sentiments that Kaitlyn choose to include in this stamp set! I stamped the three ornaments in coordinating colored inks and then embellished the centers with diamond stickles and a button.
Stamps: The Merry Best (TCM)
Ink: Vivid and Stazon
Card stock: DCWV Christmas and Winter Mat stacks
Other: Spellbinder circle dies; Martha Stewart border punch; buttons; liquid pearls; stickles; corner rounder; SU ribbon; pinking scissors; twine from The Twinery
I stamped the sentiment in Stazon ink on the wide green twill ribbon. I haven't done that in a while and really liked how it turned out.
Next up is my card for the adorable Happy Hooolidays stamp set illustrated by Jenny Suchin. Jenny's owls are always a 'hoot' to play with (sorry, I couldn't resist! lol!) I decided to use this little 'angel' owl on my card and glittered her up with lots of stickles after coloring her with Copics.
I had a lot of fun playing with some older Die Cuts with a View Christmas and Winter mat stacks for my cards for this release. The papers have lots of bright colors and glitter on them which are perfect for the holiday season, I think!
Stamps: Happy Hooolidays (TCM)
