Good evening!
Tonight I have a few cards that I designed recently for my friend Kim, the owner of My Favorite Things. I have been given the amazing opportunity of designing display sample board cards for her wholesale store clients - how awesome is that!? She gives me a list of products (stamps and die-namics) that she wants me to use on a set of cards and asks me to design a set of cards that coordinate together, mixing and matching the products. I create the card fronts and send them off to her which she then mounts onto a large mat board for the store owners to display as samples for their customers. I also write a PDF instruction sheet for all my card designs so the store can hold classes with their customers centered around the display board. What a great job, right?
I thought I'd share some of the first sample board cards that were designed a few months ago. I just realized that I haven't shared with you, my blog readers, anything about this opportunity and since Kim had told me when we started working together that I could share the news, I thought today is as good as a day as any to talk a bit about it!
I can share all but one of the eight cards with you today. The one I can't share yet is a card that was picked to be published this summer in PaperCrafts new Stamp It magazine! How cool is that!? Each card has the card details listed below the card with direct links to the MFT products used on the cards. If you have any questions about a specific card, please drop me an email or leave a comment and I'll be happy to answer. Once the magazine issue is published with the card that I'm not allowed to show quite yet, I will then offer the PDF instruction sheet for all these cards right here on my blog for you to use! I'm sorry I can't offer it until then... rules are rules, you know. lol!
I have just finished the second set of cards for Kim for the next display board which I'll share with you soon right here on my blog as well. I love MFT's stamps and dies, so this opportunity really has been a dream come true for me! Thanks, Kim!

Wow, these are beautiful, Jess. I have a few of the PI stamps that haven't seen ink yet. Now, you've inspired me to do so!
These cards are absolutely adorable!!!!!
Hi....wow, you have been busy! These are all so pretty! So many textures and creativity. I love the clouds with the touch of glitter, oh and the banner on the second one is adorable! The felt flowers are so pretty! Wow, is that one flower made from cork? It's awesome!! Love the stitching and the twine with the three flowers, very elegant!
Have a great day
What a great "job" to have and all your projects are fantastic!
Oh god, I don't know which one I love more!!! I hope to see them when we drive on down to Florida and I am hoping to go and have a visit...maybe do a bit of stamping!!! Great job!!!
Congrats Jess!!! They're all adorable but I LOVE that first one with the little girl swinging!!!
Jess--these cards are all awesome--and what a great gig!
Jess, these turned out fabulous! Sounds like a win-win for you and Kim! I can't believe you got the cork to roll into the rose...I tried a long time ago and my cork kept breaking. I'll have to try again. Thinking it would be cool on a teacher card.
Love what you've done! TFS!
Congrats Jess!! What a fun job to have!!!
Congratultaions on your amazing job opportunity and for being published! Too bad we have to wait to see that card.
I love all your designs but my favorite one is the little girl in the swing. Soooo stinkin' cute!
