Merry Christmas!
The day we have all worked so hard for has arrived, much to every kid's delight! I've purposely taken the time this year to step back and look over my to do list and evaluate what I was willing to actually do and what got moved to the bottom of the list... a first for me! I usually try so hard to do everything and end up feeling so stressed that I don't always take the time to enjoy the season as much as I know I should. I'm thankful for the Lord helping me to remember to prioritize things and am looking forward to spending the weekend with my family and watching the joy of opening presents, eating lots of yummy treats, and just being together, without feeling stressed or frustrated... at least that's the goal! lol!
Then, after the festivities are done, I'll be retiring to my stamping room to get working on the things that I pushed to the bottom of my list - finishing card projects, the annual Christmas Calendars, sorting through tons of photos of Disney World and the kids throughout the year that I want to get printed out... the list goes on and on! But, I'm so glad I decided to wait on these things as it's these exact things that stress me out each year - the very things that I love to do! I hate it when my hobby and joy becomes work and a stress... don't you?
But enough about that - on to my card for today! It was made with a new stamping company to me - Unity. They aren't a new company by any stretch of the imagination but they are new to my collection as I have only purchased a few Christmas stamps from them. Their red rubber images stamped beautifully and were fun to play with...
