Spring Florals Blog Hop

Good evening!
Tonight, I've asked GinaK's Card Kit Design Team to join me in sharing some more samples with Spring Florals, the current Card Kit stamp set available through GinaK Designs.  While surfing some of the CenterStage Design Team blogs the past week, I've noticed some beautiful projects shared with this stamp set - so I've linked them at the end of my post too!  It's always so much fun to see the variety of designs and projects everyone comes up with, isn't it?

While designing my projects for this hop this weekend, I was thinking of how elegant these floral images are and that they really don't always need to be colored... gasp!  lol!  (If you know me at all, you know how much I love to color! *wink!)  Seriously, though there are certain occasions that require a simple, elegant card without many layers and embellishments.

Since this stamp set has an Easter theme, I automatically thought of that occasion first.  Easter is a sacred holiday to many and can sometimes require (at least in my mind) a elegant, classy card to give to a pastor or friend from church.

You'll see on all three of my cards tonight that I used basically the same elements and layouts to complete each of them: white card stock, metallic gold or silver card stock, versamark, detail gold or silver embossing powder, metallic organdy ribbon, pearls, and oval punches along with an embossed petite oval nestability shape.

Another one of those times we need simply elegant cards would be for sympathy cards, don't you think?  We hate to have to make them, but we all know that we need to do to show our friends and loved ones that we are thinking of them during tragic times that we all go through.

This set is perfect for sympathy cards as flowers are traditionally what we give to grieving loved ones.

While I was working on the first two cards, I thought it would be nice to see how silver detail embossing powder would look, so I pulled it out and made this last card.  I like it in silver too, don't you?

Now that you've seen my card set tonight, please take a look at a few of the other blog posts of mine where I've shared some more samples with this stamp set -

Enjoy all the samples tonight!  If you haven't purchased this stamp set yet, please take note that the free Card Kit will be included with each purchase until March 18th.  At that time, the next card kit stamp set will be released.

Your cards are gorgeous. I always get intimidated with coloring flowers, but this looks amazing and no coloring involved.
