Lilac Birthday Wishes

I have one more Butterfly Garden card to share with you today - you know how I always seem to make at least 3 cards at a time, right? Well, this is the third card I made on Saturday afternoon while playing with these fun digital images from MyGrafico.

I used Melanie's sketch she shared with us over on PaperCraft Planet and used Emily's Rich & Shabby digital paper for the card. Isn't that purple dotted paper fun!? It's free - you can find it on the Freebie tab over on StampTV.

I used Copics & stickles to decorate the flower. The large vellum circle is SU's Sizzix scallop circle that I ran through the Big Shot with one of their Texture plates. The ribbon is SU's wide black organdy ribbon that I zapped with the heat gun to shrivel it a little.

Basic Grey's Euphoria purple brads and button worked perfectly with the purples in the paper & flower. GinaK's Punchy Words stamp set is my go to stamp set when I need to add a little sentiment to the front of my card. I used the 1" circle punch for the inside and SU's Scallop circle punch for the outer scallop.

Here's one more view of the flower...

I used Lavendar and diamond stickles on the flower - can you tell I've been loving my stickles lately!? lol!

You still have time to play along with Melanie's sketch this week and be entered to win this fun Butterfly Garden digital stamp set. Here's all the details for you to check out.

Thanks for checking in today - have a wonderful Monday!
Jessica

Jessica: I am not usually drawn to purple cards but this is beautiful. Love all the details and the vellum scallopped punch flower base is magical. Wonderful!
