Hey Cupcake!

Good morning!

Before I talk about my projects, have you had a chance to visit Gina's Blog this morning? She has something BIG under wraps that she will be revealing this Friday, February 20th. And, to kick it all off, she will be sharing hints each day on her blog with give-aways. Be sure to check out her hint #2.

Now, onto my Cupcake cards...

Even though Valentine's Day is over, I still have some more valentines to share! I made three of these pull out cards with Sweetest Blessings and GinaK's Digital paper pack. The card base is Stampin Up's Top note die. I cut 2 dies out and using scor pal tape on 3 sides to make a pouch.

The cupcake and sentiments were stamped in Black Memento ink on GinaK's 80lb. cardstock. Everything was colored with Copics. The circle shapes are nestability dies - I pierced the scallops in the petite circle scallops. I made 3 different color combinations: red, chocolate, and orange.

The cupcakes on the red and chocolate ones were embellished basically the same. For the frosting, I used Tulip's Puffy White Paint sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and then heat set. The look is softer than liquid applique without much puffiness. You should be able to find this paint in the art/craft section of WalMart or Hobby Lobby.

Last up, is my orange card. I have some orange liquid applique that I used to decorate the frosting...

Isn't that fun? I sprinkled glitter over the applique before I heated it and then used Sakura's Red Glitter pen for the cherry.

Have a great rest of your day and good luck guessing Gina's Hint#2!!

I like how you used the top note for the pocket - very cute cards!
It's been a long time since I made a slider card, I forgot how fun they were.
