Embellishment Cards for 1/20 Class

***Edited to Add: It's me again! Today one of my best students reminded me that on our class list description for this Embellishment class, it mentions that a stamp set is included in the class fee! Ooops!! I totally forgot about that - as you can see, since I didn't even stamp on these sample class cards! What a great teacher, forgetting to look at the class requirements.... sorry about that, guys!

So, I have reconfigured the class kit to include the stamp set. We'll still make the 4 cards using the four sketches with Doodlebug's Specialty papers - student's choice - but we'll incorporate GinaK's Rectangle Greetings stamp set on the cards. The flowers will be a little different too. I found some White flowers that work great for coloring with Copics or embossing with the Cuttlebug embossing folders.

If you are coming to the class and already own Rectangle Greetings, you may choose any $18.95 stamp set in its place.

Once again, I'm sorry for the confusion. *******

Good morning!

The cards I'm sharing today are for Tuesday, January 20th Embellishment Tin class. Along with GinaK's Rectangle Greetings stamp set, everyone will get to choose a 6x6 Doodlebug Specialty paper pack of their color choice, an assortment of Kaiser Kraft white flowers (which I'll show how to color and emboss with at the class), 2 sheets of 120lb. and 1 sheet of 80lb. Pure Luxury cardstock for the cards along with 4 envelopes, and a window hinged tin to hold the Kaiser Kraft rhinestone & pearl packs, some spiral clips, and a coordinating ribbons.

For my sample cards, I used an orange assortment of embellishments. The class kit will also include a print out sketch of each of these 4 cards that I'm sharing, so they can choose their own papers and embellishments while making their cards. I love giving options and this will be such a fun class to see what everyone does with the kits and sketches!

The cards don't have any stamping on them yet. The stamp set Rectangle greetings has some awesome words and phrases that work perfectly with Marvy's Scallop Rectangle punch. I'll add the sentiments and sayings to these cards at the class.

I was thinking of how nice it is to have some generic notecards to have on hand to use for whatever occasion. Unfortunately I didn't get photos taken until late yesterday afternoon, so they aren't the best -sorry about that! I will have them on display at GinaK's store - so pop in and check them out.

I also included a photo of the inside of one of the cards - with this awesome class kit, there will be plenty of supplies to make the insides pretty and finished as well. Look at how nice a simple strip of cardstock and a flower make it!

I still have some openings for this class -give the store a call at 608 579-1026 to sign up for the 1-3 or 5:30-7:30 class times.
Thanks for stopping by!
Jessica

Thanks Charlene! Gina sells these embossed Prima flowers in her store - they come in different color packs. I can't find them online to link them for you to see. I'm sorry! I'll keep looking and link them here if I can find them...
