Life's a Stitch

Good evening!

Tonight I have a vintage/shabby chic card that I made with Asela Hopkin's new stamp set called Sew Pretty.  I have fallen in love with my Janome sewing machine and did a bit of stitching on this card - since it uses this fun sewing stamp set.  I used several different patterns and a journaling card from October Afternoon's Thrifty Shop paper line.  This line is gorgeous!!

Cardstock: GinaK; October Afternoon Thrify Shop line

and the inside - see, more sewing and patterns!

Thanks for stopping by today - have a wonderful rest of your night!

Day 3 Previews: Sew Pretty and Welcome Home!

Good evening!

Tonight we are showing two more new stamp sets from GinaK Designs and I know you're going to love them!  My first card was made using Asela Hopkin's Sew Pretty set - just look at her chic chef image that she included in the set...

I used several papers from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite collection - which I am in LOVE with so much!!  And, did you notice?  I actually sewed AND enjoyed it!  lol!  It's been a journey with my sewing machine, trust me but it has paid off because I love it so much!

Here's a close up of the Marvy punched flower embellishment for you so you can see the diamond stickles on the petals a bit better -

**********Welcome Home by Rupa Shevde *********

My next card uses Rupa's adorable Welcome Home stamp set with several images included on the outside and the inside of it.  I like to cram as many things as I can on my cards sometimes!  lol!  I fell in love with the puppy and the key images on her set, so had to use them both for this card .

I used quite a bit of Crystal Lacquer over the sentiment and the fish bowl and like the epoxy look it ended up the sentiment.  It looks like a large oval page pebble in person.
