TCM: Autumn Themed blog hop

Hi there!

Today, the designers from The Craft's Meow are joining together for an autumn themed blog hop!  If you've been following along on the hop, you should have visited Jennie's blog first.  All the specifics of today's hop can be found at the beginning of the hop, so be sure to check our hop out there so you don't miss out on any of the fun!

For my first card, I used the flower and leaves from Hope Blooms and paper pieced and colored them with some warm Copic markers so they worked with these October Afternoon papers.  Then, in keeping with the autumn theme, I used a sentiment from Speaking of Fall on the die cut border, embellishing each one with a pearl.

My next card uses the same October Afternoon papers along with the Stitched Flowers and Autumn Borders stamp sets.  I stamped the flowers on vintage cream card stock in cocoa ink and colored with Copics, layering a second image over the top of the flowers for more dimension.

My last card uses the same Stitched Flowers and Autumn Borders stamp sets along with more papers from October Afternoon.  What can I say?  I was on a roll when I was working on my cards for today's hop!  This time I added some messy stitching as well as some solid cappuccino baker's twine.

I've added my cards today to a couple of the new Hope You Can Cling To challenges going on right now over at SCS.  Check out all the information below on how you can participate in this amazing cause.  The Crafts Meow will be participating in the challenges this month too!

Next up on the hop is Jinny!

Happy Hopping!
Jessica
