SNSS: Magic of Christmas

Good morning!

Today the designers from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are showcasing the new Magic of Christmas stamp set, just one of the several new products added to the online store for September!  It's a small stamp set with this adorable sketch-y Christmas tree that makes super quick and easy cards - a must in my book for my Christmas cards.

I made two cards for today's hop, both with very similar layouts.  I kept them pretty flat to help with mailing - another must with Christmas cards.  For the first, I added some Platinum shimmer baker's twine, embossing with a holly impression plate and some tiny pearls to decorate the tree.

My next card has one added layer with the green (once again, embossed with the same impression plate) and a doily added for another design element.  I added a pop of red by inking the star with a red marker and used seam binding ribbon instead of twine, but otherwise, it's basically the same layout.  The large tree makes such a great focal point.

Here's some information about today's stamp set from Korin:

  • Stamp set includes 2 images and 4 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 3"
  • The tree image measures approximately 2" x 2 1/4
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set - $9

Be sure to check out all the other designer's lovely cards in the photos below.  Leave comment along the way for your chance to win today's featured stamp set for yourself.

Happy Hopping!
Jessica

Both cards are beautiful, Jessica! Love the CAS style and your ribbon on the second card! The holly impression gives the perfect amount of texture without taking away from the Christmas tree image!

I like the pearl ornaments on the tree and the way you threaded the ribbon through the image panel on the last card.
