Today ends our previews for the new The Craft's Meow July release! Tomorrow all the new stamp sets we've been showing on our blogs will be available for purchase! Today, we are showing off the new free with $50 purchase stamp set illustrated by Karen Baker called Circle It.
This is such a fun stamp set and again, like nothing I have in my stamp collection yet! I stamped the oval in black Versafine ink and then positioned the thanks so that it kind of looked like the circle around it was all part of the 'thanks' writing. Super fun. The rest of the card is very CAS - only embellishment was a paper doily, a clip and some seaweed baker's twine.
My second card uses the same thanks sentiment from the Circle It stamp set along with the chair and another sentiment from the Welcome to the Office stamp set we showed yesterday, also illustrated by Karen. The flourish under the sentiment is from the Circle It set as well.
I went very CAS with this one since I was thinking about what would be appropriate to give a co-worker, especially a guy on his retirement. I stamped the image and sentiment on some light turquoise paper in black Versafine ink and then embossed the entire panel with a grid line impression plate. Then, I stamped the 'thanks' sentiment on a scrap of Vellum in black stazon ink and attached it to the card front with a tiny clip.
