Welcome to another The Craft's Meow July preview hop! Today, we are showcasing Karen Baker's new Welcome to the Office stamp set. This is such a fun stamp set - nothing like I have in my stamp collection! The sentiments and images Karen included are great for co-workers, no matter what your occupation is!
My first card is pretty simple - I stamped the paper clip image repeatedly towards the bottom of the card front and rounded the corners. Then, I stamped the stapler and a coordinating sentiment on the die cut. I added some black matte shimmer twine, a tiny clip and a strip of turquoise paper for interest.
My next card uses the awesome office chair in the stamp set. My go to black ink for sentiment and silhouette images such as this chair and the stapler is black Versafine ink. It always delivers a great impression! Then, I stamped the office light and light bulb glow with Stampin Up inks on a notecard die cut and added the sentiments from the set with Versafine ink again. Another clip and some black shimmer twine was all the embellishment I wanted on this CAS card.
It's hard to see in the photo, but I added a wash of clear glitter to the lamp and glow with my Sakura glitter pen.
