TCM October Release Blog hop

Good morning!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow October release blog hop!  If you've arrived on my blog from Emily's blog you're right on track for today's hop.  If not, please consider starting at the beginning HERE and hopping along with us, leaving comments along the way for your chance to win the entire release!  (All the details can be found on TCM's blog post for that fun prize!)

For my first card today, I used the adorable Winter Fibi and Lilly stamp set and did some paper piecing with that sweet kitty sitting on the Christmas ornament with just a bit of Copic shading.  I kept my card layout quite simple, choosing to stamp the candy cane stripe border strip from Holiday Foundations in white ink to the side twice.  I tied the taffeta ribbon on the stamp seam and embellished the bow with a matching mini rose.

Card Details
Stamps: Winter Fibi and Lilly; Holiday Foundations (TCM)
Ink: PTI white; Versafine black

Card stock: PTI; SU patterned
Other: Doily; SU ribbon; wild orchid flower; copics; corner rounder

My next card also uses two of our new stamp sets - Hearth and Home (sentiment) and Christmas Cheer (ornament).  I love this rich razzleberry color from Stampin Up - which is kind of funny to me because I'm not a fan of purple normally...  I went monochromatic with this card, thinking again of mass producing for my Christmas cards.  I think this would be a pretty easy one to do several of in different colors.

Card Details
Stamps: Christmas Cheer; Hearth and Home (TCM)
Ink: SU; Versafine black
Card stock: SU patterned; PTI white
Other: PTI border die; Spellbinder oval die; SU taffeta ribbon; Want2Scrap pearl; corner rounder

Next up on today's hop is Karen!

Happy hopping and have a great day!
Jessica

I am partial to kitten stamps, and I love these! Your paper-pieced kitten and ornament are darling. As for the razzleberry colors---loVE it! Against the white--it's very striking!
