Sweet Treat for you!

Fall is well underway here in Wisconsin and I am enjoying the beautiful colors and yummy treats that are available during this time of year.  I have to admit to having a love/hate relationship with candy corn - it's one of those treats that taste so good but then leaves a bit of a sour feeling in my tummy after I eat it, especially if I eat more than a couple at a time.  I'm sure it's because it's pure sugar and corn syrup... lol!

But, candy corn on a card? Now, that's a sweet treat I can handle!  My favorite color of late is orange - especially paired with kraft and white.

I choose to make a card for the 'Show me your style' challenge: HYCCT1201A    I had fun putting lots of textures and patterns together for my card today using TCM's new Fall Fibi and Lilly (for the candy corn) and the Fall Blessings (sentiment) for my card today.  My style usually consists of sewing, doilies, ribbon, textures with impression plates or embossing folders, and color - either with papers or markers.  It's fun to try new things sometimes, but I usually end up back in my 'comfort zone' with these things on my paper projects.
