SNSS October Release Blog hop

Good morning!

I'm thrilled to be part of the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps October release blog hop!  If you've arrived on my blog from Monika's blog, you are right on track for today's big event.  If not, please consider starting over at the beginning so you won't miss out on any of the inspiration of the day's hop.  Leave comments along the way for your chance to be entered into winning a $25 gift certificate to the SNSS store!

My first card uses the new Poinsettias stamp set.  I stamped the image twice in versamark on both red and green papers and embossed with white embossing powder and then trimmed them, layering together to make the poinsettia.  I love the size of this beautiful flower.

My next card uses the sweet little Gingerbread Man stamp set ...

Once again, I stamped the image and sentiment in Versamark ink on chocolate brown cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder.  After I trimmed Mr. Gingerbread out, I embellished his buttons with some white pearls from Want2Scrap - they were just the right size.  I used the some twine from The Twinery too - love my twines!

Next up on today's blog hop is Cathy!  When you're done with the hop, check out the Virtual Stamp day activities several of the designers have planned for us to celebrate the new release!

Have a great rest of your day and enjoy the hop!
Jessica

Everything about your poinsettia card is stunning - I love the crinkled background and the center you have crated. The gingerbread man is so very sweet!

Distressing never looked better than what you've done with your first card! The lace, stitching and embossing are so so pretty, and I love the white accents on the image! The 2nd just makes me smile with those fabulous candy coated colors, buttons and gingerbread boy! So cute!

These cards are so unusual. I love poinsettias and we don't see enough of the gingerbread men anymore. Thanks for bringing it back.
