The Twinery & Skipping Stones Blog hop event!

Good morning!

This morning I'm excited to be part of another cross promotional blog hop event with two fabulous companies!

and

We are having a 2 day blog hop, so for all the details and links for today's hop please be sure to check in at The Twinery's blog (the beginning of the hop!) so you don't miss out on any of the fun prizes that are up for grabs during this event!  If you have arrived from Jennifer's blog - you're right on track for today's hop.

I was sent the beautiful Timeless Treasures stamp set and used lemondrop and honeydew twines to finish off my card's focal point - this huge daisy die cut.  I stamped the background image repeatedly along the green card stock and then shaded it a bit with ink to 'shabby' it up a bit.

Card Details
Stamps: Skipping Stones Timeless Treasures; PTI Fillable Frames
Ink: PTI; Versafine black
Card stock: PTI
Other: Seam binding ribbon; PTI daisy & fillable frame dies; lemondrop and honeydew twine from The twinery

My next card for today's hop is a bit more elegant than the first using this lovely damask image from the Timeless Treasures stamp set.  I was pleased to see how easy it was to line up this background stamp to finish off the entire panel of the card.  I used more Honeydew twine to edge around the frame die and embellished it with a double twine bow in the corner.

Card Details
Stamps: Timeless Treasures (Skipping stones); PTI fillable frame
Ink: PTI
Card stock: PTI
Other: MFT scallop border die; seam binding ribbon; recollections rose; honeydew twine from The Twinery

Next up on the hop today is my friend Taylor!  As you are hopping along with us, be sure to leave comments along the way for your chance to win this lovely assortment of twine from The Twinery!  All the details on this giveaway can be found on The Twinery blog.  This event runs until Friday, May 25 at 11:59 pm EDT. The winners will be announced on The Twinery's blog on Saturday.

Happy hopping!
Jessica

This card's name brought tears to my eyes. My grandfather sang this to me when I was a little girl. He passed away when I was only 5 years old. I am now 53 and still miss him everyday.
Thank you for bringing back such a great memory for me.
