TCM May Release day 1

Good morning!

Today starts previews for several new stamp sets that will be available for purchase through The Craft's Meow on May 21.  This is one of my all time favorite releases from TCM, so I can't wait to start sharing some of the projects I've prepared for this week's previews!  To view all the other designer's projects and blog links, please visit The Craft's Meow store blog and be sure to leave your comment there for your chance to win the stamp set that will be featured each day on our blogs!

Today, we are showing one of Nina Brackett's new stamp sets called Flower Garden which is a great bold image flower 'builder' stamp set.  I decided to try to make a masculine card with Nina's set and used the DCWV Natural mat stack and inked up a few images from the set in PaperTrey Ink's Vintage Cream ink.    The sentiment comes from another new stamp set that we'll be talking more about tomorrow called Grads & Dads.  A few buttons and some brown seam binding ribbon finished it off quite quickly.

Card Details
Stamps: Flower Garden, Grads & Dads (TCM)
Ink: PaperTrey Ink vintage cream
Card stock: DCWV Natural mat stack
Other: Seam binding ribbon; button; SU copper cording

Next, is a bright, cheerful birthday card that peeks another new stamp set that we'll be showing in a few days called Retro Foundations along with the Flower Garden stamp set.  This time I stamped the tulips in PaperTrey inks as shown and then the sentiment in Versafine black on this DCWV Citrus mat stack and quickly embossed it with detail clear embossing powder.  Then, I sewed one side of the card stock down and added a quick white seam binding ribbon bow to finish this CAS card.  Bonus points for a card that will be easy to mail, right?

Card Details
Stamps: Flower Garden, Retro Foundations (TCM)
Ink: PaperTrey Ink colors; Versafine black
Card stock: DCWV Citrus mat stack

Remember to pop over to The Craft's Meow store blog for lots more ideas with today's Flower Garden stamp set.  You're going to love what everyone has prepared for you today!

See you tomorrow with two more new sets all about Grads and Dads!

Great cards! That first one is my favorite. It's so bold, I love the flowers stamped in white and the paper you chose for the bottom really echos the stamps. Well done!

Thanks for sharing a "manly" card--for me, they are hard to design.

Who says dads can't have flowery cards? This is great because it's still masculine.

Beautiful cards Jessica - the one with the tulips is the one that really appeals to me - it's the colours I think.

Two fabulous cards. Love the flowers done in white on the masculine card. Nice to see flowers being used for a male in such a perfect way.
