SNSS November Release blog hop

Welcome!

This morning I'm joining together with the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps design team in showing a couple of cards that I've created using new stamps that are now available for purchase!   November's release is all about Christmas and winter and are so fun.  I have two very different style cards to share with you today, so let's get started!

If you are hopping along in order for today's blog hop, you should have arrived from Kim's blog.  If not, please consider starting over at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog for all the links because you are not going to want to miss even one!

My first card uses the new Cozy Christmas stamp set - just look at this adorable penguin in the patchwork circle design!  Love him!  I designed the card to be like a square in a quilt, inspired by the circle image's patterns.

Card Details (card size 5 1/4" square)
Stamps: Cozy Christmas (SNSS)
Ink: Versafine black
Card stock: Stampin Up; Copic Xpress it blending card stock; My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas patterned papers
Other: Sewing machine; Spellbinder die; Basic Grey Buttons; Copics; Stickles; doily; Marvy paper punches

Next, is a bit more of an elegant card using the new God's Purpose stamp set.  I love this chubby little chickadee!  I stamped him on Stampin Up's shimmery white card stock and then colored him with Copic markers.  I forgot how much I like color with Copics on that paper.  The shimmer is subtle, but so pretty.  I couldn't pick it up on the camera unfortunately.

Card Details
Stamps: God's Purpose (SNSS)
Ink: Versafine black
Card stock: DCWV Glitter & textured; SU white shimmer paper
Other: Sewing machine; Copic markers; EK Success paper punches; wild orchid flowers; Twine from The Twinery
