You are a true Friend

Welcome!

I'm joining several of my fellow Sweet 'n Sassy design team members in introducing the first of several new stamp sets that will be available on June 1st!  We are showcasing the gorgeous Rose Blossom stamp set on our blogs today.  To view the other designer's cards, please visit the Sweet 'n Sassy blog for all the links.  I know you're going to love what they've prepared for you!

I decided to make a shaped card with a lovely Spellbinder die that I have been enjoying a lot lately - the Lattice Rectangles.  After cutting two die shapes out of the largest die and adhering them together with a strip of 1/4" scor tape on the back side, I cut a layering standard rectangle to use for the focal image.  The image was stamped in Memento inks (rhubard stalk and bamboo leaves) and then colored in with Copic markers.  I like this look because it almost looks to me like it was drawn by me (lol - not a chance!) not stamped, doesn't it?

Card Details
Stamps: Rose Blossom (Sweet 'n Sassy)
Ink: Memento rhubarb stalk and potters clay for stamp image; Distress broken china and spun sugar for sponging nestability dies; Versafine black
Card stock: Copic Xpress it; GinaK white
Other: Copics; Spellbinder Lattice rectangles and standard rectangles; SU oval punches; detail embossing powder; dauber for shading; lace

If you'd like to see more projects with this beautiful stamp set, please check out the Sweet 'n Sassy blog!

Have a great day!
Jessica
