Spread your wings & Fly!

Good morning!

The Craft's Meow is sponsoring the Lily Pad Cards blog this month and I have a card to share today using this month's challenge: Embossing.  If you get the chance, please play along as there a great prize up for grabs for one lucky stamper who participates - Nina Brackett's Happiness is stamp set!  I created a card kit using this gorgeous stamp set, so I know how much fun it is to play with!

I stamped this adorable bold silhouette image from Butterfly Kisses and the butterflies from Fly Free in black Versafine ink and embossed with detail clear embossing powder and then then with a couple of Distress inks, I sponged the grass and blue skies for a simple background scene.  Embossing the ink helped the image to remain crisp and clean, since I was able to wipe off the excess ink from the embossed image.

here's the inside of this card -

Be sure to check out the Lily Pad embossing challenge post for the designers' examples as well as all the details on how to enter your card into the challenge!

Happy Stamping!
Jessica
