The Craft's Meow

I'm so excited to announce that I've been asked to join my friend Lisa Hjulberg's The Craft's Meow kit design team!  Lisa has assembled an amazingly talented group of designers together and I'm honored to be one of her kit designers.  I'm looking forward to designing both card kits and scrapbook kits with the products that Lisa carries in her online store.  And, a huge bonus for me personally is that some of the stamps that I'll be working with are designed by my good friend Nina Brackett

My first card kit will debut in a few weeks - I can't wait to share it with you!  Until then I have a few cards to share with you that I've designed using two of Nina's most recent stamp sets.  The first card uses images from her Butterfly Kisses stamp set along with Echo Park's For the Record 6x6.  I stamped the bold images in Versafine black ink and embossed with detail clear embossing powder to make the black really pop and shine.  The inside of the card uses a couple of images from Nina's Fly Free stamp set -

Card Details
Stamps: Butterfly Kisses and Fly Free (The Craft's Meow)
Ink: Versafine black; Distress Pumice
Card stock: Echo Park For the Record 6x6
Other: Sewing machine; detail clear embossing powder; MFT notebook edge die; Flourishes black silk ribbon; SU build a brad; Victoria cuttlebug embossing folder; pearls

My next card uses the cute little Star Quality stamp set  - love that this little stamp set is only $4!

I used three different colored inks and card stock from Stampin Up to create this 'girly' card and was so happy to see that the star image worked perfectly with my EK Success star punch!  Here's the inside view of this card (the sentiment is from Butterfly Kisses)

Card Details
Stamps: Star Quality (The Craft's Meow)
Ink: SU
Card stock: SU
Other: MFT doily and border die; Twinery pink twine; buttons; corner rounder; EK Success star punch

Here's another Star Quality card with the same color scheme and basic supplies:

And the inside...

Thanks again for this amazing opportunity, Lisa!  And, thank YOU for stopping by and checking in on my blog today!
