InStyle Stamps Valentine Blog Hop
Good morning!
Today, the entire InStyle Stamps design team are joining together for a Valentine themed blog hop event! If you've arrived on my blog from Taylor's post, that's perfect! If not, when you're finished checking out my post, please consider checking in on the InStyle Stamps blog for the entire list of designers along with their blog links so you won't miss out on anyone's fabulous projects they've prepared for today's hop!
I've created a couple of projects for the hop - I hope you like them! My first is a card using the Patty Love stamp set - as you may have noticed already, I really like Patty! I colored her with Copics and then used Basic Grey's Bittersweet 6x6 paper pack to create my card.
Here's the inside view...
Card Details
Stamps: Patty Love (ISS)
Ink: Memento; Distress
Card stock: Basic Grey Bittersweet
Other: SU heart punch; Copic markers; WeR Memory Keepers corner rounder; Sewing machine; Petite oval nestability; SU ribbon; Basic Grey button
My next project is a little Valentine Treat bag. I used one of Stampin Up's Sizzix box dies for my bag - they are so quick and easy to use and make darling little treat containers. I sponged around the kraft die cut bag to shade it a bit and then embellished the box with a few Basic Grey Bittersweet scraps. Another image from the Patty Love stamp set finished it off nicely, I think.
Treat Bag Details

Next up on the hop, is the talented Axa! Thanks for stopping in on me today and enjoy the rest of the hop! There's also a fun prize offered on the InStyle Stamps blog this weekend, so be sure to leave a comment there to be entered to win it by Sunday, January 30th.
Well, today is the big day! As you read this post, I'm getting the kids off to school and then will be headed to the airport for my flight to LA for CHA! I'm so excited to see everyone and everything at the Craft and Hobby Association event! If you are going to be there, look for me at the Spellbinder booth on Saturday night as well as at the Crafter's Workshop booth on Monday afternoon. In between that, I'll be walking the show drooling over all the new products, meeting up with old friends and making many new ones, among just a few things! I'll be checking in on the InStyle Stamps booth as well - yay! I can't wait!
If I can, I'll try to blog a bit about the show while I'm there, otherwise look for photos here on my blog when I return. If you are on Facebook, I'd love to have you be 'my friend' so you can see any and all photos I share there as well as it's easier to share them there sometimes than it is here on my blog.
Have a great rest of your day and send your best wishes to me on my long flight from Wisconsin to California!
Jessica
