I have another Layers of Color card to share today - I was really happy with how this one came together. (The images used will be available for purchase on January 17.) Since I've had some requests to explain the steps of my cards, I thought I'd give a bit more detail about this one for your reference ...
I stamped the Warbler stamp image (which is HUGE, by the way = LOVE THAT!) in SU's blue bayou ink on soft sky ink twice, cutting out the whole bird once and on the second image just the top wing. Then, I sponged around the entire image with the same ink I stamped in (blue bayou) to add some depth to it and then with pop dots, I layered the wing on top. I added a bit of Scor-Tape to the top of the wing to make sure it was flush with the body for a bit more of a realistic look. To add a bit more detail to the bird, use an orange glitter pen for the beak and the feet and a white gel pen dot on the eye.
Next, I stamped the I Cor. 13:4-7 sentiment image (which is HUGE as well - I believe it's 6" long!! = LOVE THAT!!)
from The Love Chapter stamp set in soft sky ink on white paper. Since it's a clear image, perfect placement is a breeze! When the whole paper is covered, sponge with soft sky ink around the edges and then stamp the Warbler image in black ink in the center. Add a bit of glue and Polar White flower soft and then layer the paper pieced blue Warbler image with pop dots, if desired. The oval sentiments are from the Sent with Love stamp set, by the way.

Card stock: Black and white; SU soft sky and river rock
Ink: SU river rock, soft sky and blue bayou; Memento black
Other: Polar white flower soft; SU satin ribbon; dauber; Spellbinder petite oval die; SU small oval punch; Spica orange glitter pen
