Winter Cottage

Hi There!

I have another quick Christmas card to share today before I head in to work.  The glittery icicles on the windows and roof look a bit familiar while looking out my window today as we got a covering of ice and snow over night.  It looks pretty from the inside looking out, but it's kind of yucky being out in it!

I've been a busy little elf getting last minute shopping done in the mornings after I drop the kids off to school and before I head into work... and I think I finally finished all my shopping this morning!  Wrapping is almost done too - we have a special 'code' system for the kid's presents that Brad works on each year.  I wrap, he documents the present and comes up with a super secret code number (that coordinates with all the other presents for the child) so it's a group effort!  lol!  The kids haven't been able to figure out the code yet, much to Brad's delight!

Here's a close up of this super quick card - as you can see, minimal layers and colors on this shabby card....

Card Supplies
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink: Stampin Up; Distress
Card stock: GinaK
Other: Seam ribbon; doily; moraccan screen folder; stickles; sewing machine; button; dauber; fiskars border punch

Once again, I forgot to take a photo of the inside - oops!

Have a great rest of your day and good luck with all the Christmas hustle and bustle!

Just lovely Jessica and nice half doily on this. Love the code system for presents for the kids...need to ponder that some :o)

your code system gave me memories of when we did a code at Christmas for our 3 kids' presents. It drove them nuts, and was wonderfully fun for us!
Your card is a super inspiration as always!
Merry Christmas!

I really like this card a lot - I love houses in any shape or form - it spells HOME. Cute card!
