*** Grand Damask & Fanciful Tags by Nina Brackett***
Good evening!
Tonight begins the previews for August's Release of 9 new stamp sets that will be available through GinaK Designs on Thursday, August 26th! We're starting off tonight with Nina's newest sets that work so beautifully together. Her Grand Damask design is gorgeous, isn't it!? I decided to go with a monochromatic card to let her design speak for itself, only adding a bit of piercing to highlight the image - which you can see in a bit more detail below...
Card Details
Stamps: Grand Damask; Fanciful Tags (GKD)
Ink: SU pink pirouette; Black Memento
Cardstock: GinaK Innocent pink; white
Other: SU ribbon and embossing folder; Basic Grey glazed brad; Spellbinder fancy tags; scor-tape; piercer; 1/4" corner rounder
And, the inside of my card peeks images from Nina's new Fanciful Tags stamp set. You are going to LOVE the sentiments and the images that are designed specifically to work with Spellbinder's Fancy Tags! How awesome is that!? Plus, do you see those flourishes in the corner? Yep, it's from Nina's Grand Damask set - love them!!
*** Wild at Heart by Melanie Muenchinger ***
Melanie has designed another beautiful frame stamp set that makes a quick and easy card in a flash! I've played with her set with colors as well as this metallic one I am sharing tonight and decided to share this one since I'm sure you'll see lots of colorful samples in tonight's hop. After stamping the image in metallic ink on patterned paper and clear embossing, I used a dauber and Distress Smokey Sky ink to further bring out the embossing and help the flowers to pop.
The ribbon was white, so to soften it I sponged the same Smokey Sky ink over it on both sides and then tied it up to decorate this elegant and easy card.
Card Details
Stamps: Wild at Heart
Ink: Platinum metallic ink; black memento; distress inks
Cardstock: GinaK black and london fog; Memory Box patterned paper
Other: Detail clear embossing powder; white organdy ribbon (colored gray with Distress Smokey Sky ink and dauber)
