Happy Labor Day weekend!
I've been busy 'laboring' away at home cleaning/purging and reorganizing my stamping room and the rest of the downstairs... and I'm exhausted but thrilled to have it finished! Tons of stuff thrown out, several boxes of things for charity gathered and items set aside for the garage sale I signed up to participate in with one of my local scrapbooking stores in a few weeks. Ah - I LOVE the satisfaction that all brings and have to chuckle to myself that I did it all Labor day weekend - I was definitely 'laboring!"
But, enough of that - I have a couple of cards that I made recently with Melanie Muenchinger's new Wild at Heart stamp set. They were super quick to make since the image makes such a nice card front.
Stamps: Wild at Heart (GinaK Designs)
Ink: SU; Memento black
Cardstock: GinaK white, violet
Other: Violet 5/8" grosgrain ribbon; button; silver eyelets; Quikutz die cut shape; Tim Holtz embossing folder; sewing machine; 1/4" Scor-Tape
If you purchase Stampin Up ink - you'll be happy to know (as I was!) that the new SU red, purple, green, and orange inks match GinaK's red hot, vibrant violet, grass green, and sweet mango card stocks VERY well! I used SU's ink on both of my cards today.
