Thank You Blog Hop!

Good evening!

Tonight we are having a special blog hop to thank our recently retired StampTV Challenge Hostess Team members:
These 4 designers have provided StampTV with a challenge each week during the months of March, April, and May, which totals up to 13 challenges!  To view each of their challenges in one area, click on their names and it will direct you to their Idea Center Inspiration Page.

Even better, we have a special StampTV Challenge Magazine Volume 2* located on the Freebie Tab, where all 52 of their challenges are shared in a download PDF that you can save to your computer and print out at your leisure!  *We will be doing a similar magazine for our first Challenge Hostess team as well in the near future, so watch for that soon.

To honor the team a bit more, several GinaK Designers are joining together in a special thank you blog hop and would like to invite you to join us.  But, more about that later - on to my cards for tonight's hop!  While looking through their challenges, I picked one from each of the designers that was a challenge to me and will be mailing each of their cards to them in the mail tomorrow!

My first card was made for Vicki Dutcher and uses her first Sketch Challenge.  I loved her sketch - those strips of cardstock on the side of the oval are something I'd never think of adding, so I had to try it out!

Card Details
Stamps: Botanicals
Cardstock: GinaK; October Afternoon
Ink: Vivid; Distress
Other: Sewing machine; spellbinders classic oval dies; stickles; ribbon; piercer; SU markers & marker spritzer; buttons

Thank you, Vicki - your sketches and samples were beautiful and very inspirational to all of us!

Next, is my card for Tina Gilliland.  I chose her shades of green color challenge because I love monochromatic cards but wouldn't naturally choose a green palette, but I had to give it a try for my buddy Tina.

Card Details
Stamps: Botanicals
Cardstock: GinaK; October Afternoon
Ink: Vivid
Other: Sewing machine; spellbinder nestability circle dies; ribbon; button; pearls; copic marker; stickles

Tina, your color choices for us were lots of fun and as colorful as you are!  We are so happy you're part of the StampTV family, my friend!

Next, is my card for my good friend Sharri Seffens.  I used two of her challenges on my card: sewing and thumping with markers.  I hadn't pulled out my dye based markers for awhile and thought the bold flower images in the Botanicals stamp set would be perfect for this technique.

Card Details
Stamps: Botanicals
Cardstock: GinaK; October Afternoon
Ink: Memento; Vivid
Other: Sewing machine; corner rounder; button; stickles; SU markers

Sharri, I'm honored to know you personally as a good friend of mine!  I'm so thankful for that little girl of yours who I was able to babysit years ago so we could meet and get to know each other.  Your challenges and samples for StampTV were fabulous as everything you do is!

Last but certainly not least, is my card for Karen Knegten.  I chose her frame challenge as the inspiration for this card.  I'm not sure if you can see, but I die cut a couple of windows with some Spellbinder's dies to create my 'faux' frame.

Card Details
Stamps: Botanicals
Cardstock: GinaK; October Afternoon
Ink: Vivid; Memento
Other: Sewing machine; Spellbinders labels 10 dies; rhinestones; stickles; ribbon

Karen, thank you SO MUCH for taking on the Anything but a Card challenge for us!  That is a challenging spot to fill and you did it beautifully.  Your projects, templates, and samples blew us all away each week with your creativity!

************

Now, it's your turn!  After visiting the links below, please check out this discussion on StampTV and share a favorite card you've made in the past or a new one you're inspired to make using one of the challenges from any four of the challenge hostesses.
Happy Hopping!
Jessica
