Preview Day 1: Botanicals Card Kit and Beach Bum!

Welcome to the first night of previews for the new May stamp sets that will be available later this week through GinaK Designs!

My first photo shows the beautiful new Card Kit stamp set for May: Botanicals.  For the next 4 weeks, each purchase of the Botanicals stamp set will automatically include all the consumable supplies as well as the instructions on how to complete all 3 cards shown above.



Here's a list of all the materials included for the next 4 weeks in the Botanicals Card Kit:

This is also my chance to remind you that April's card kit stamp set: Quite a Catch includes the free card kit until 9:59pm central time on Thursday, May 27.  After the new stamp sets are added to Gina's online store, April's card kit will be available for purchase separately for $9.95 and won't include the stamp set.

*********** Beach Bum by Rupa Shevde ***********

My next card was made the Beach Bum stamp set, illustrated by Rupa Shevde.  It's filled with fun beach images that are perfect for both cards and scrapbook pages.   I decided to use Sharri Seffens' Paper Piecing Challenge on StampTV as my inspiration for this card and paper pieced the towel and surf board and then added some shading with a few copic markers.

Stamps: Beach Bum, Welcome Home, Candles on Your Cake (another new stamp set - more on that one tomorrow!)

Ink: Versafine black, Distress Inks for shading

Cardstock: GinaK white, tan leather, sweet mango, soft sand, DCWV Citrus Mat Stack (will be available through GKD during this release)

Other: Copics, Daubers, Spellbinder Nestability Tag, Clear Embossing powder, Circle Punches
