The next month is a big birthday month for our families and friends - in fact, the celebrations started yesterday with my 11 year old niece's birthday and will continue with a birthday every few days until the middle of December!
This card that I'm sharing today is the one I sent out to for my niece Reilly's birthday. She and her sister are NUTS for Build-a-Bear (as is my daughter), so when Stampin Up came out with this stamp set, I had to add it to my rubber stamp collection.
Stamps: Build-a-Bear by Stampin Up
Cardstock: GinaK white & black; Basic Grey Cupcake
Ink: Memento; Copic markers
Other: Sakura Glitter Pen; Basic Grey Cupcake fibers
I am so sad that I forgot to take a photo of the inside of this card because it was so cute! The inside sentiment said ' I love you beary much' - isn't that perfect!? But, the card is on it's way to the birthday girl filled with love and some birthday money, so that's what important, right?
Today is my nephew Jack's birthday - I sent the card I shared in this blog post to him. He's into Star Wars so I thought the aliens on that card would be fun for him. I am loving the variety of stamping images that are available now for kids cards, aren't you?
Thanks for all the well wishes about my nasty ear infection that I've been battling for a while now. Yesterday afternoon was the first day in over a week that I didn't notice any ear issues - so I'm hoping that means it's all cleared up. I haven't had that kind of pain in I don't know how long... it makes me feel so badly for all the kids I've watched who have had earaches - who knew they could be so painful!?
Ashley came home from church with a fever, headache, and sore throat - and I'm scared to think that we may battling the flu, or even something worse ... especially with her birthday party scheduled for this Friday. It seems like it always works out like that sometimes, doesn't it?! She's napping now, so I'm hoping that she'll wake up and feel fine after her nap...
Have a HEALTHY week, my friends!!
