Hot Air Balloon

Happy Friday morning!

I wanted to share this card with you last night but the night got away from me. After work, I tackled my stamping room - cleaning and rearranging a bit. It was a much needed task and one that I am happy to report went well! lol! I don't know about you - but I actually like mixing it up a little in my stamp room so I can get re-acquainted with my goodies! lol!

Then, after supper, I tackled my laundry room/storage room and got that all tidied up and rearranged a bit too. Boy, am I ever glad I got that done! It's been at the back of my mind, nagging me to get done for quite awhile... so, I'm glad it's organized again! We don't have an attic, so that room becomes the catch-all area and can get quite messy very quickly.

So, why all the cleaning? I'm not sure except that the temps are dropping here in Wisconsin and I always seem to want to get things organized in the fall... call it getting ready for hibernation... or 'fall cleaning' - I'm not sure! But, I still have to tackle the garage/shed - so hopefully that will get done later today! Wish me luck! lol!

Enough of that boring babble - here's a close up of this fun image. I popped up the balloon and added a layer of Crystal lacquer over it for some shine...

The sentiments are from Hero Arts and are clear stamps, so I was able to manipulate the words to go around the image in a circle.

Here's the inside view... I LOVE that hedgehog with the large heart!

Here's a closer look at him - see how I paper pieced the heart?

Since I've been working on house projects, I will be able to do some serious stamping this weekend without that nagging guilt of what I 'should' be doing around the house... yay!

I hope you have a great day, filled with joy!
Jessica

What a cute card! Just love that hedgehog and the balloon and basket are really cute too! When you finish sprucing up your house could you come to mine? I need to reorganize badly. Could work on that this weekend if I didn't have DH's parents coming. But I just got my Gina K shipment yesterday and it's calling my name. Hope to get some stamping time this weekend!

Jessica, I love all of the hedgies you have been sharing. You have inspired me to go through my stamps and "play" with some that I haven't used in awhile.
