PaperCraft Planet Blog Hop

Good evening!

Tonight, in honor of our very own Melanie Muenchinger, the PaperCraft Planet Design Team members are featuring two of her newest stamp sets : "A Year of Leaves” and/or“School, Sports,Spirit!. Melanie has decided to step down from her Design Team role with PaperCraft Planet and we are all showering our love and appreciation to her time with us!

Gina K is sponsoring a challenge this week on Paper Craft Planet with a chance to win one of Melanie’s newest sets! Upload a new project you create with a"Best Wishes" or good luck theme to the PCP gallery by Monday night 10PM EST, with the tag GKDBW. (Here is a tutorial on adding pictures to the gallery, if you need it.)

A winner will be announced Tuesday, that person will win their choice of “"A Year of Leaves” or
"School, Sports,Spirit!”

Hope you will play the challenge!

Now, onto my cards for tonight - My first one is made with her School Sports Spirit stamp set...

I just love this jacket and duffel bag of Melanie's - which I'm sure you have realized by now, since I've shared so many other cards with these images already on my blog this month! lol!

I used some of my favorite GinaK Pure Luxury cardstocks on this card tonight: Moonlit Fog, Black Onyx and Soft Sand... they all work perfectly together for this MVP card, I think.

We'll be attending a Soccer Tournament for my son this weekend - so of course, I had soccer on the brain when I made this card to share tonight!

Next, is a simple card I made with Melanie's Year of Leaves stamp set - look, no coloring at all on this one!

Isn't that fun - what a quick and easy this card was to put together! I stamped the images in a variety of Vivid inks that Gina carries in her store and then using my Marker Spritzer and a couple of coordinating Memento markers, I spritzed ink all over the main panel. To finish it off, I sponged both Vivid Taupe and Tuscan Tan inks around the edges of the focal image.

and the inside of this one is as simple as the outside...

My last card is actually my favorite one that I've made with Melanie's set but I could not get a good photo of it and ran out of time tonight, so I wasn't able to try to take another one. Sorry about that... the colors are a little washed out, but they are GinaK's Chocolate Kiss and Soft Sand...

It's hard to see, but I stamped a couple of leaves in the upper left corner of the card front in versamark - the rest of the card was done with Vivid's Tuscan Tan and Brown inks.

I love monochromatic cards and don't do them enough - this was fun to do and super quick to complete!

These are all fabulous, Jessica! Love the color scheme for your sports card--great for a masculine card. And the multicolored leaf card is gorgeous. So simple, but so eye-catching.
