Flowers for You

Good evening!

My card tonight is another one that I made with some images that I colored with my mom over the summer. Once again I used some Basic Grey LimeRickey patterned papers to finish it off...

I love these daisies from the Eclectic Summer stamp set! They are so fun to color - and to help the colors really pop, I added a layer of Clear Embossing powder to the image after I cut it out. You should try this technique sometime if you want your colors to be even more vibrant. This works for any coloring technique - colored pencils, watercoloring and copics.

I thought I'd share these fun photos I took of my daughter Ashley tonight. The first one is one that I took just before a huge spider crawled on Ashley's shoe... which prompted a meltdown of screaming and crying that scared both of us!!

After she calmed down a bit, she headed to her room to clean it - and soon called me to check it out. So, I went in and this is what I saw...

Where's Ashley? It's our own version of 'Where's Waldo?' .... lol!

I'm not sure if anyone has as many stuffed animals as her! And, that's like 1/4 of them... the rest are in containers in our storage. lol!

I hope you'll check back in tomorrow night for another blog hop that I'll be joining in with several other GinaK Design Team members. We'll be showcasing Asela Hopkin's Fruitful Harvest stamp set this time!

See you then!
Jessica
