Halloween Projects

Good evening!

Today's Stop and Stamp was a blast! Thank you, ladies, for spending some time with me today stamping and chatting. It was such a fun day seeing everyone and watching everyone have fun stamping.

I'm sorry to say that I can't share any of the projects I've been working on lately because they are all made with some brand new stamps that Gina will be releasing this Thursday, October 3rd. Previews will begin Tuesday, September 30th. I promise that you are going to LOVE these new stamps!! Again with the teasing... sorry about that!

So, I thought I'd share some of my favorite Halloween projects I made last year with these adorable Stampin Up stamps. The first project is a little M&M treat holder. It's a pouch that I made - nothing fancy, but does the job. Kids are only interested in the candy anyway, right?

I made a little template by measuring my M&M packet, and formulated my own little template. It's nothing to special, so I'm not even going to bother to share my template with you because there are so many better ones out there. If you are looking for good templates, check out the ScorPal website - they have the BEST templates. Splitcoast Stampers is another awesome resource for templates and project ideas too.

The Trick or Treater is from Booglie Eyes - don't you love the 2 different sized googlie eyes on him? I watercolored him with my Watercolor Crayons.

This little card has lots of texture and dimension that the camera doesn't really pick up very well. The background is stamped with a variety of Stampin Up background stamps. The words are from Hero Arts. The teddy bear witch is from an old retired Stampin Up set called Costume Bears. I watercolored her in with Watercolor crayons and then I stamped her head, broom, and bat a second time and popped them up.

I hope you have a great weekend - tomorrow looks like a great day for me to play in my stamping room for a while. Hopefully I'll have something new to share with you instead of having to go into the archives... Lol!

Thanks for stopping by!

Watercolor Crayons

Good morning again!

Two posts today - how about that?! I wanted to be sure to share Cammie's amazing blog candy in a different post because it's just so special! I'm so thrilled to have met Carolyn at CHA this summer and put a face to such an amazing lady. Her love for her grandma is so special and something that I admire so much.

I want to share these little notecards that I watercolored a while ago because I haven't shared anything lately that I've colored with my Stampin Up watercolor crayons. They are so creamy and fun to use!

I stamped these images from Stampin Up's Summer by the Sea in Black Stazon on Fabriano Notecards. Then, I took my aqua painter filled with water and watercolored away.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful rest of your day!

*By the way, when I resize my photos, my watermark turns all fuzzy. Sorry about that! I'm still working on the fix for it....

Sea Worthy

Hi!

Today's cards were made with some fun Stampin Up stamps. The first one uses Crab & Company and Family Phrases. I love how some of the words from Family Phrases fit well on the My Way Arrow punch from SU! The clam is watercolored on craft paper & cut out with a petite circle Nestability. It's a thank you card for a Christmas gift - thus the Santa hat.

The last two cards use Ahoy Matey and the coordinating wheel. I recently found the word stamp "you are my soul matey" at my Local Stamping store and had to pick it up as it works great with this set! I think it's by Memory Box.

The images were stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored with my Aqua Painter and SU Watercolor Crayons. Not a lot of embellishing going on since I was trying to make them masculine and not girly! Just some ribbon strips and crystal brads added to them to finish the cards off.

Have a great rest of your day!

Jessica
