Sung from the Heart Blog Hop!

Supplies: GinaK & Basic Grey Indian Summer cardstock; Nestability dies; copic markers; crystal lacquer; EK Success border & Scallop heart punches; daubers; Memento ink -desert sand & black; Quikutz diamond; Sakura glitter pen

Good evening!

Tonight several of us are showing off Rupa Shevde's Sung from the Heart stamp set on our blogs! I had so much fun making my two cards tonight - and can't wait to see what everyone else will be sharing too!

As you can see, I pulled out a variety of Nestability dies and had fun experimenting with them to make both of these cards. On the next card, look carefully at the focal image to see if you can see the shimmery shine that the Versadazzle Versamark ink pad left on the die cut.

After I colored the main image, I pressed the ink pad directly onto the entire die cut and set aside to dry a bit. It's a really neat shimmery look - and I did in on the pink die cut layered underneath too.

Supplies: GinaK & Basic Grey Indian Summer; Indian summer accessories; Nestability dies; EK Success scallop heart & border punch; copic markers; Versamark dazzle ink; Black memento; Tim Holtz distress inks; dauber; Sakura clear glaze pen; Petaloo flower

and the inside - super simple, but finished none the less.

Check out these designer's links for even more inspiration tonight:

Now, it's your turn! Please hop over to Gina's blog to add the direct link to your blog post showcasing Rupa's Sung From the Heart stamp set in the Mister Linkey Box. Gina will have a special prize for the one link that she chooses out of all the participating bloggers - check out her blog for the details.

CSS Inspiration Photo Blog Hop!

It's time for another GinaK CenterStage Spotlight Team Blog Hop!

Each participating artist was asked to design their project by drawing inspiration from these photos of the AMAZING Christmas Cookie Bouquet the CSS Team sent to me this Christmas:

Aren't they cute - the kids and the cookies, I mean!? lol! I wish you all could have been there when I opened the plastic wrap around the cookies - I think I gained 10 pounds just smelling the sugary goodness!

Here's my first card tonight - this one was inspired by the Delivery Guy who surprised me at work with the GORGEOUS cookie bouquet (wouldn't that be a FUN job!?) -

I was super surprised when the basket of yummy-ness was delivered to ME - I thought for sure it was for Gina! As you can imagine, I had a hard time not smiling for the rest of the day as I was so touched by the CSS team's thoughtfulness.

So, I pulled out three of our new stamp sets and made this card with those fun memories going through my mind. I used Heartily Yours, Love Notes, and Happy Hearts to make this fun Valentines Day card for the entire CSS team - sorry girls, it has to be a 'virtual' one because I don't have time to make almost 40 of these! lol! (I'm still working on my Christmas cards! yikes!!)

and the inside -

My next card's inspiration came from the sweet note that was attached to the bouquet and the warm fuzzy thoughts I felt when I read it...

I pulled out Sung from the Heart and Happy Hearts for this card - I am just LOVING our new stamp sets this month, aren't you? On both projects tonight I used Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses papers and buttons which worked really well with Gina's new Lipstick Red and Innocent Pink cardstock colors and inks. I also used both the Plain & Scallop Heart Nestability Dies along with EK Success Medium punch and Large Scallop Heart punch.

and the inside -

Thanks, girls, for the sweet gift - my entire family LOVED it!! Now, on to the rest of the links for the hop - Click on the links below to see what the participating Designers have prepared for us tonight:

As you can see, all the same elements and layout have been used to make each card.

The additional materials needed to make the cards that are not included in the kit are - Cuttlebug embossing folders, Black Memento ink, corner rounder, diamond stickles, Copic markers (or other desired coloring medium) and the Blossom nestability die. These items may be substituted for similar products that you have in your craft room or will be available for purchase in Gina's online store after the release.

Next up, is Rupa Shevde's new stamp set called Sung from the Heart and it has the most adorable images and sentiments included in it - perfect for Valentines Day or a card for a loved one any time of the year...

My son Isaiah LOVES toast - peanut butter and grape jelly to be exact - and according to him, I make the BEST toast out there, lol! And, yes I am picky about my toast and exactly how much butter is added and how toasted the bread is... so I totally understand what he means! *wink*

So, naturally, this card is for him this Valentine's Day!

and the inside - a punched out scallop heart with coordinating Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry cardstock...

There are so many fun images in Rupa's set, I can't wait to play with them all!

And, last but not least is Tami Mayberry's new stamp set called Happy Hearts:

This time I used Basic Grey's Indian Summer cardstock as my inspiration and stamped the hearts in coordinating inks which I then punched out with the new EK Success Scallop heart punch that works so well with Tami's hearts! Gina will be adding that punch to her online store on Thursday night.

and the inside...
