Follow your Heart

Hi there!

I'm popping in tonight to share the fun news that my sweet friend Nina Brackett has invited me to join her personal design team.  I've loved Nina's work from way back when and am always amazed that her designs have been so spot on with the latest trends in our papercrafting world.  She designs many of my favorite stamps from The Craft's Meow and Penny Black along with die designs for Spellbinders and bling for Want2Scrap!

But, our friendship goes much deeper than our mutual love for all things papercrafting... She is a dear sister in the Lord and is serving Him with her family as missionaries in Croatia.  I have been blessed to get to know her and her family a bit the past several years and feel like we're family already, so it was an honor to be invited to design for her personally. 

In honor of the announcement today, I have a fun card that I made this past weekend using a couple of her TCM stamps: Vintage Rides (sentiment) and Life is a Carnival.  

I stamped with Versafine ink and added some stardust stickles to the roller coaster track as well as over the hearts (from Love Dwells Here) on to a K&Co. tag die cut.  The rest of the card is pretty basic - just a bit of Want2Scrap bling (I cut the pearls from a label bling set) and some Wild Orchid flowers.
