Taste and See

Hi there!

I have another Layers of Color new release stamp sets preview card to share with you today.  I've used two new soon to be available stamp sets on this shaped card:  Encouragement and Tea Cup Blessings.  While thinking about designing this card, I thought it would be neat to create a project with the idea of drinking a cup of tea (or coffee, for that matter) while reading the Bible.

I liked how the sentiments from each individual set worked so well together and it certainly is true that during my daily Scripture reading, God's word is sweet to my spirit and nourishment to my soul...

Card stock: PTI white; DCWV patterned

Other: Spellbinder dies - long rectangle plain & scallop, Labels 7, and rectangle; Martha Stewart butterfly punches; rhinestones; Copic markers; Caribbean twine from The Twinery

The Tea Cup Blessings stamp is so creative.  The tea cup is one image and then there are several sentiments included in the set that can be placed in the saucer and the cup as shown below to personalize the cup to fit whatever occasion you wish to.

The Encouragement stamp set is one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets.  I love the quotes and verses Nina Brackett includes in the set and think you will too!   It fits perfectly on the Rectangle Spellbinder die, nestled in the Labels 7 die cut, doesn't it?
