A new song and opportunity!

Happy Friday!

I'm so excited to announce that I've been asked to join the Sweet 'n Sassy design team!  When Korin asked me, it didn't take me long to accept the invitation as I have been an admirer of Korin for some time and love so many of her Christian themed stamp sets (well, not just those - many of her other ones too!  lol!) that it's such a blessing and an opportunity to work with both her and her entire team for the next several months.

All of the eight new sets are available for purchase later today either individually or as a set for $70 which is 15% off their regular, individual prices.  Love deals like that!  April is also Korin's birthday month, so she has a fun promotion going on for the entire month that if you purchase $33 worth of product, she is including a free stamp set!  It's adorable - check it out -

I designed my card for today using the new Sweet 'n Sassy Praise the Lord clear stamp set that is now available online for purchase.

The bird image is simply lovely - I can't wait to experiment a bit more with coloring her.  I let the patterned papers dictate how I colored her on today's card, so it was all about the yellows and soft brown Copic markers this time.

As you can see from the photo above, Korin has also included several wonderful Scripture based sentiments in the set.  I decided to go with this one as I felt like Ms. Bird was singing cheerfully sitting on top of a spring of flowers in celebration of SPRING!  (oh, how I want spring to be here in Wisconsin now!)

Card Details
Stamps: Praise the Lord (Sweet 'n Sassy)
Ink: Memento
Card stock: SU retired spring designer paper; PTI white; SU colored; GinaK Designs white
Other: Copics; Circle punches; Martha Stewart punch; SU ribbons; corner rounder; rhinestones

and the inside view...

I left the inside blank as in my mind, this card would work well for a congratulations card for almost any occasion - don't you agree?  It could also be a note of encouragement for a dear friend going through difficult times, encouraging them to 'praise the Lord through the storm', I think.

Thank you again, Korin, for the opportunity to work with you and your entire team, designing cards with your amazing stamp sets - digital and clear alike!  Tomorrow, I'll share another card I designed using a new stamp set called Bethany's Birthday Wish.  See you then!
Jessica
