Good morning!
Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Sunshine & Flowers stamp set. It's one of my favorites from this new April release - I love the style of the flowers Korin included in this set so much!
I stamped the images and sentiment in Versamark ink on watercolor paper and embossed with white embossing powder and then did some watercoloring with several PaperTrey Ink reinkers, water, and a paintbrush. So much fun experimenting with colors to make the images & sentiment pop!
I think you can see the bookmark die that I used for a banner - it's my favorite use of that die. Since I used so much color on the focal image and papers, I decided to use white buttons for an embellishment and liked how it softened the whole card just a bit (at least in my mind, it did! ha!)
I'm adding this card to this week's SCS Mix-Abilities challenge: MIX63 which was to used mixed mediums to create a spring/easter card.
Have a day full of wonderful things.
