SNSS: Seasonal Wreaths

Good morning!

Today begins the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' new September Release blog hops.  For the next several days, we'll be featuring one of the new stamp sets that Korin just made available on the SNSS store.  We are showcasing the new lovely Seasonal Wreaths stamp set with their coordinating dies.

I've made three cards for today's hop, so buckle up for lots of photos...

Card Details
Seasonal Wreaths (SNSS)
Ink: memento; Versafine
Card stock: Stampin Up new ink colors; Copic Xpress it blending;October Afternoon patterned paper
Accessories: PaperTrey tag die; seam binding ribbon; Want2Scrap pearls; Copics; stampin Up embossing folder; sewing machine

One of the things I like best about the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set is the sentiments that Korin included in the set that can be 'built' to say exactly what you want them too.  Each word is separate so you can build it to your desire... long, stacked, etc.   I also love the font - it's so delicate and pretty.

I just received the new Stampin Up in colors papers and inks and wanted to play with them, so I ended up using them quite a bit on my cards for this release.  I love the soft colors and thought of Easter/Spring when I saw the soft orange and red colors so I made a quick and easy Easter card for my stash!  I thought this wreath with the circles looked like eggs.  I just took a couple of Copics and scribble colored the wreath in, not worrying about coloring each circle individually.

Card stock: SU new in colors; Copic Xpress it blending paper
Accessories: doily; sewing machine; Copics; Want2Scrap pearls; SU embossing folder; corner rounder

For my last one, I thought of this impression plate I have in my stash and wanted to pair with the holly wreath, trying to mimic a Christmas wreath hanging on a door.  I lined up my sentiment with the words in the stamp set (see how easy they are to line up pretty easily) and edged the inside of panel with white liquid pearl dots.

Love your work, Jessica! All your cards are so pretty, but I find myself favoring the first one- it is so soft, shabby and sweet.

It's rare to see the colors you used in your first two cards but they are beautiful and look quite elegant. Love the coloring on the third card!
