TCM: Potted Garden and Cottage Garden

Hi There!

Today, the designers from The Craft's Meow begin our previews for the new August stamp sets that will be available for purchase August 21.  We have an amazing lineup of stamps for this release - it's one of my very favorite releases to date from TCM!  I had so much fun playing and am thrilled to begin sharing what I've been working on with the new stamps.

Today's two stamp sets that we are featuring are from our amazing new illustrator Clare Buswell!  I know you're going to love her new sets as much as I do!  First up, is Potted Garden.  I stamped the image in Stazon ink and watercolored with Distress markers and a waterbrush.  Then, I added some ink splatters with the markers and an old airbrush.

My second card uses the other main image in the stamp set - so sweet, right?  This time I stamped in Versafine ink and clear embossed before watercoloring with Distress markers.  I added some shading with some soft distress inks and then stitched the panel directly on the card front.

Clare's second stamp set that we are featuring today is called Cottage Garden.  It's a huge set that has a ton of possibilities with building garden scenes... another fun one to play with!  I stamped several of the images on this notebook die cut and then uses Copics to color the leaves and Spica glitter pens to color the flowers and butterfly.

My last card for today uses a sentiment along with some of my favorite little flower images Clare included in her stamp set - these dandelions... at least that's what they are to me!  I inked them with Distress Markers and then stamped for a soft look.  I loved how soft and pretty this card turned out and absolutely love the fonts Clare used for her sentiments in both of these stamp sets!

To see all the other designer's projects with today's two stamp sets, please hop over to The Craft's Meow store blog for all the photos and links.  Be sure to leave a comment there for your chance to win one the sets for yourself!

See you tomorrow with more new TCM goodness!
