TCM: Wildflowers

Hi There!

The Craft's Meow May release previews of the designers' blogs continues today with our second new stamp set reveal called Wildflowers illustrated by Nina Brackett.  We're sharing projects daily leading up to the stamps being available for purchase on May 21st.

My first card uses only a sentiment in the new Wildflowers stamp set - I love the truth of this one.  I stamped it on a white die cut and embellished it with some flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid.  The soft feminine papers from My Mind's Eye seemed the natural ones to use with the 'sweetens' part of the sentiment.  I used Blossom Twine from The Twinery for a soft bow.

My next card is quite pretty in real life, but I had a hard time photographing it very well.  I paired this lovely large floral line art stamp set with some sentiments and flourishes from another new stamp set called Side by Side - more on that tomorrow!

I stamped the flower in white ink and set aside to dry and then colored it with Copic markers.  I love how pretty that all looked on Kraft paper - so soft and delicate!   For my 'ribbon treatment' I pulled out this Green Shimmer twine and wrapped it around the card four times.

For all the other designers' projects with today's new stamp set, please hop over to The Craft's Meow blog for the photos and links.  Leave comments there for your chance to win today's stamp set for your collection!

These are fabulous cards again Jessica, and both so different. The words on the top one are true, and I love the way you have coloured on the kraft in the second card, with the white accents is it beautiful.

Both cards are lovely. I especially like the second card. It has a wonderful folk-art feel to it and it is refreshing to see a wedding card in these colors.
