TCM Monthly Blog Hop: Flowers

Hi there!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow monthly blog hop event!  This month the theme is flowers - a favorite for sure!  If you've arrived here from Jen's blog - you're right on track for the hop today!

Both of my cards for today's hop use Beautiful Hymns for the sentiments and Beautiful Shelf for the stitched lines (and flower pot my second card below).

I used the beautiful Blossom Iridescent shimmer twine for the flower pot to 'sit' on.  I wanted to make this card relatively flat so it would be easy to mail to my friend.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Julie!
To see everyone else's cards in today's hop, please check out The Craft's Meow blog.

Have a great day!
Jessica

Jessica these are so sweet - love those words on both cards, and the way you have used the stitching stamp is awesome.
I would never have thought to use Gray paper for a flower, and then to sponge it with card Gray ink - stunning!

Both of your cards are exquisite! (As usual.) One of the things that impressed me about both cards is the choice of the floral papers. They complement the stamps beautifully. The twine and the bow with the flower are great touches.

I love the cards. the big flower on the first card is so pretty with the darker outline. The sentiments are great. I'm going to have to watch for those. The flower pot and the paper match so well in the second card. Great job.
