TCM: Let's Face It

Hi There!

The Craft's Meow May release previews continue today on the TCM's designers' blogs.  We're sharing projects daily leading up to the stamps being available for purchase on May 21st - thanks for joining me today in the fun!

Today's stamp set is called Let's Face It illustrated by Nina Brackett.  It's a huge stamp set filled with lots of fun, quirky images and sentiments for people of all ages - boys and girls, men and women!

My first card uses one of the eyeglass images with a coordinating sentiment which I stamped on this heart die cut.  It's hard to see, but I added some glossy effects to the lenses.  I stamped another sentiment in white craft ink on this dark grey card base and wrapped some Black Shimmer twine around the card four times and embellished the bow with a white rose.  The chevron embossing folder is from Stampin Up.

My next card is a bit busy but fun with all the elements from the Let's Face It stamp set.  I stamped the talk bubble on this label die cut and added a sentiment to the center and then embossed it with a Cuttlebug tiny dot embossing folder and then shaded just a bit with some soft turquoise chalk ink around the edges to match the card base.

Then, I stamped a couple more sentiments and the lip image along the bottom of the patterned paper strip.  To embellish it just a bit more, I added a button and wrapped some Turquoise Shimmer twine (currently sold out) around the card three times and added a bow.

For all the other designers' projects with today's new stamp set, please hop over to The Craft's Meow blog for the photos and links.  Leave comments there for your chance to win today's stamp set for your collection!

these are fabulous Jessica - I particularly like the grey card with the texture and the 'punny' sentiment :-).
