SNSS: Across the Miles

Good morning!

Today is the last day of SNSS May release feature blog hops!  Today's stamp set was illustrated by the amazing Dina Kowal and is called Across the Miles.

This wonderful set designed by Dina Kowal is perfect for those who love to travel, but also for encouraging distant loved ones and missionaries.  The different elements work nicely with the main image to create a variety or styles and the sentiments are beautiful and inspiring.  It also coordinates very nicely with Dina's Vintage Postcard set.
  • Stamp set includes 4 images and 8 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 6"
  • The map image measures approximately 3 5/8" x 2"
  • Designed by Dina Kowal
  • Stamp set is $15

My first card is a cutesy one - which is a total different feel with this elegant stamp set.  I like this sentiment so much and while I was deciding how to go with this card, I started looking through my SNSS sets to see what 'friends' I could find to use.  The Cute Critters stamp set is one of the first sets I found and I thought it would be perfect because in my mind it's one of the LAST sets I would think to pair with it! lol!

I wrapped some buttercream twine around the card front three times and embellished with a bow.  I like the whimsy of the blue gingham ruffle ribbon paired with the yellows together.  Such a fun card to make.

My next card is much more traditional with this set and was fun to make.  I love that map and the sentiments Dina included are perfect.  And, can I say how much I love that delicate arrow?  It's fun to use!

After stamping the card front elements, I embossed it with a linen impression plate for some added texture.

Happy Hopping!

Love both of your cards -- and it is sweet to see that you can use the sentiments separate from the maps - although I do love that map! so many pretty uses!

Love both cards. My favorite is the map card. Very cool how you turned the compass rose into a regular compass with the little arrow spinner. Cool!

Hi Jessica,
Thought I'd got a bad link when your critter card came up, then I saw the sentiment and realised how perfect they went together :-)
Love the map card with the arrow on the compass.
